Tears Upon The Moon

Current Weather
February:Spring is on the way, however, the snow has not yet melted and still lies on the ground, though in fewer quantities.The leaves of the trees are still bare, but mating season is near.Those of the Earth element are stable, Fire is growing stable, and wind and water are at a high.


CURRENT MOON
Once Upon A Time
The Alphess walked this earth.
Dipping her majestic paw into the dust of the heavens, she touched the earth and dragged her paw in a holy circle, creating a marvelous place full of the rich varitiy that was The Alphess.
After she created it, she retreated to her perfect silver disk in the black sky which was her home, and she sat and pondered. What would she do with such vast lands? She would need someones to be guardians of her scared place.
And someones came. Four of them. So she took each one of her paws and marked a different place in her vale, at a different but even point in her circle.
She pressed the land so hard, that water seeped up from where it was hidden in the ground and the paw prints became magical ponds. Each wolven drank from a different lake, and each one recieved a different elemental power.
In the north land, which was lush and rich and full of forest and other vegatation, the guardian was given the element of earth. To the beautiful, watery east, the gift of the element of water. The free, open plains of the west were given the element wind. To the hot, wonderfully tropical forest guardian of the south, the gift of fire.
And The Alphess was pleased.
Knowing all would be well in the paws of her elemental alphas, she once again returned to her home, the moon, from where she could watch her children play upon her lands.
But something happened that she had not been expecting.
With the gift of fire, she had also given a curse. The need to destroy, to dominate, to purify anything that could not withstand trial by fire. And the Fire-Bearer attacked.
The one who resisted the most was the Earth-Bearer. He fought back against the Fire Wolven with all of his being. The Water Alpha aided him much during his struggle. It is still unknown what the Wind-Singer was doing at the time.
After much struggle, the Earth Alpha finally cried out to his mother and marker, The Alphess.
When she looked upon her vale and saw what had been done, she cried. From her perfect silver orb in the sky she cried. And as her tears fell upon the moon, they became craters. Her perfect world had been marked with sin. And these sinful tear drops did not go away.
The Alphess did go, however. But not before she punished the Fire-Bearer.
She turned his lush, tropical paradise into a hot, scorching desert. Fire was now excluded, the unclean element.
Still, The Alphess felt some sorrow in this. She told her guardian children, "Until you learn, I cannot stand to be in your presence. I shall return when you all live in peace again."
For hundreds of years, the circle remained the same. Fire kept to the shadows and the others were free to prance about.
But now, the fire is rising again. No one's quite sure why, but it can only mean trouble. Will the packs somehow join as one and cause The Alphess's return? Or is the Fire-Bearer seeking to wreak havoc yet again?

Earth Pack Terra
[ ]Border
This lush, green land lies just at the edge of the Earth Pack's lands. Howl here before you wander anywhere else, and wait for a scout or the alpha himself to take you further inside.

[ ]Red Pine Forest
For only she knows why, The Alphess decided to plant these pine trees in straight rows. This makes it easy to run through them and not worry about getting hit, but it also makes it harder for both prey and predator alike to hide from each other.

[ ]Secret Willow
Through an endless field of various dense vegitation lies a giant, black willow tree. No one's quite sure exactly how old it is, but it's ancient trunk still bears a scar from a fray between the old Water Guardian and Wind Alpha, oddly enough. The reason the two fought is said to be a secret trapped as a whisper inside of a leaf, as are all of life's secrets hidden somewhere on the dark, giant tree.

[ ]Shady Grove's Den
This emerald grove hides a large, moss covered cave. This is where the Earth Apha and his pack reside. While most of the place is green, around the entrance to the den are pink rose bushes, a very classy touch to the already romantic, secluded aura of the place. Also in front of the den stands a young tree who causes sadness in the hearts of whoever chooses to look upon it.

Water Pack Terra

[ ]Valley of Lillies
A lush, wonderous valley that is filled to the brim with gorgeous flowers; white lillies. It is without a doubt the most peaceful, relaxing place in the entire vale.

[ ]Violet Marshes
Large growths of a toxic mushroom at the source of the marshes causes them to turn a brilliant violet color. While the water isn't safe to drink, it can still be swum in, though most wolves gather here simply to admire the unique beauty.

[ ]Rushing Waterfall Den
A beautiful, powerful waterfall pours down here. Just behind it lies the cave where the members of the Water Pack make their home. The falls pour into a giant lake which also sits right in front of the dens. Its a marvelous place to fish and its even calm enough for a nice swim.

Wind Pack Terra
[ ]Border
This huge, empty field lies just at the edge of the Wind Pack's home. Howl here before you wander anywhere else, and wait for a scout or the alpha himself to take you further inside.

[ ]Windswept Plains
Yellowed, pale faded green, or white and covered in frost. Whatever color, this huge space of grassy plains is perfect for beginners to practice their elemental powers or hunt the red deer that pass by so often. The Silver River runs through the south end of the fields.

[ ]Silver River
The life-line of the entire Wind territory. Without it, the grasses would whither and die, and the wolves who reside here wouldn't have much to drink, besides the magical water that is. This body of water also connects the Fire Terra and Wind Terra together, something all packs seem to be wary of.

[ ]Mountain Peak Den
Mountain Peak is the tallest point in the entire circle. One can see every other territory from up there. Snow is constantly falling on the top, which is where the den is located. In adition to snow, the wind is always blowing, which is a wonderful thing for the members of the Wind Pack.

[ ]Black Desert
Where your typical hot, dry, devoid of life desert would have golden sand, this one's grains are as black as the sin that occurs around them.

[ ]Silver Stream
As the cool, refreshing Silver River flows from the Windswept Plains down into Fire Terra, it lessens and becomes the Silver Stream, though the dark hearted sand gives it a bitter taste and it's really more of a trickle anyway.

[ ]Rocky Den
Sharp, jagged, onyx rocks can be found jutting here out of the smooth line of the land. Legend states that it used to be a mountain, but The Alphess knocked it over with a sweep of her paw and crumbled it to the mess it is today. It's terribly hard to breach and makes a wonderfully safe den though.

This is one of the four lakes The Alphess formed when she created the vale. Aside from a pitiful trickle of a scummy stream, its the only source of water the remained after The Alphess's wrath fell upon the southen lands. It is said that whoever drinks the water gains the power of the element fire.

Unclaimed Terra
[ ]Trench
An odd, jagged trench runs through the length of the Un-claimed Terra. Some say its a scar from an attack by the Fire-Bearer of legend, but now it's home to rabbits, voles, mice, and other tasty treats.

[ ]Scarlet Hills
Shallow, bumpy hills curve around the west half of the un-claimed center of The Alphess's circle. This small hills are completed covered with an odd, red fern, giving them a brilliant scarlet color. The sunrises and sunsets here are to die for.

[ ]Ring of Pillars
In the very center of the circle is a ring of seven marble pillars. Each is about 15 feet high, and about three feet in diameter. No one knows why they were placed there or what purpose they were supposed to serve, but now they are used as a meeting ground between all four packs every night of the full moon. Only Alphas/Alphenas are allowed to come here.

C-box Rules

1. Don't use someone else's name. Not only is this terrible, but we can easily find out who impersonated who, and that person will be banned.
2. Just because you post "BUMP" every two seconds doesn't mean that someone is going to come talk to you. C-boxes are nice, but are more for fun than actual real conversation. If you have something important to tell someone, why not make a thread about it?
3. Don't post more than three posts in the C-box at a time. This is called "flooding" and is really dumb and annoying. And also if you do it your C-boxing rights may be suspended until you can learn to behave.
